Praising national and international broadcasters has been part of my watching-tv activity everyday. When i was watching tv-patrol world on their world reports segment yesterday evening, i was amazed with the bravery of Mika Brzezinski of MNSBC in their show "Morning Joe". Intrigued by the story, i checked it out in youtube.

I was astonished when first saw the video but then i admired her. Mika was really firm on her conviction that Paris Hilton reports are not really reasonable for the lead most especially that it was a morning show.
For me, what she did is just right. Reporting Paris Hilton as the lead is just "stupid". Well, yah, I know that Paris is such a famous, influential celebrity in the face of the globe in the present era and reporting stories about celebrities like Hilton's graceful exit from the prison walls would increase the station's ratings and would make many celebrity fans pleased. But there are surely more reports more absolutely significant, worth the time, report-that-story-or-i'll-kick-your-ass stories that would feed people good information at the crack of dawn. What Mika did, in my humble opinion, is true journalism.
