Human Experiment: Coke + Mentos = ???

This article with photos in sequence was sent to me through an e-mail. It told me that there was a little boy died in Brazil after eating MENTOS and drinking COCA-COLA (or PEPSI) together. One year before the same accident happened, another boy died in the same country.

The photos are taken during an experiment done by mixing Coca-Cola (or Coka-Cola Light) with MENTOS .

Check out what happens.

Maybe I need to know the facts behind this.

I posted this since I myself is eating Mentos (POLO's) and I also drink Coke. Fortunately, I swallowed these in seperate dates.

Here's a human experiment, by the way:

This may be truly dangerous or just deception. But it's better to be careful with your self eating MENTOS (POLO's) and drinking COCA-COLA or PEPSI together.

Will you repost this?

whaaah! tlga? i been eating mentos and alike refreshing mentol candies and been also drinking large amount of cola but of different time. hehe. I am sure that your tummy will burst and you'll feel a bubbling effect inside your tummy.

but if that's the real case - we must take precautions.

try ko nga mag-experiment. hehehe.

the best thing to do there is, be careful.

i prefer not experimenting it with your own selves. ha3

I've seen that in Discovery Channel. they tried diff colas pero yun Coke light ang may pinakamataas na bubbling effect. Umabot yata ng 10 ft. And it bubbles up because of the carbonated thing they put there.

but is it really a killer?

Ang DIET SODA at ang MENTOS ang may epekto. Ung normal SODA, walang epekto. Natry na namin ito noon.

Meron din site na puro ganyan lang ginagawa nila. Nice find!

Happy blogging!

Fixed-for-floating swaps in same currency are used to convert a fixed rate asset/liability to a floating rate asset/liability or vice versa. For example, if a company has a fixed rate USD 10 million loan at 5.3% paid monthly and a floating rate investment of USD 10 million that returns USD 1M Libor +25 bps monthly, it may enter into a fixed-for-floating swap. In this swap, the company would pay a floating rate of USD 1M Libor+25 bps and receive a 5.5% fixed rate, locking in 20bps profit.
